Master tool set contains a complete set of tools to perform camshaft timing on M60, M62 engines and camshaft + VANOS timing on M62TU engines.

M60 M62 Camshaft Alignment / Timing Tools: 

This tool kit contains all the necessary, engine-specific tools to time the camshafts in BMW M60, M62, M62TU engines.

Includes:

Two camshaft alignment locks to secure the camshafts in the proper orientation during assembly.

Top dead center pin: To align the flywheel at the TDC position. 

Rigid chain tensioner: Use to tension primary chain. 

M62TU VANOS Camshaft Timing Tool: Two brackets to lock the sensor wheels in place                      during timing of VANOS equipped M62TU engines. For: M62TU VANOS (1999-2002) 

VANOS Electromagnetic Valve Socket: Special deep, thin-wall 32-mm socket that is required to remove the electro-magnetic valve on 6 and 8 cylinder engines equipped with VANOS variable valve timing. For: M54, M62VANOS 

Chain Tensioning Bracket Trestle: Used to provide a mounting point for the rigid chain-   tensioning tool while the front timing case is removed from the engine for servicing the timing-  chain, servicing of VANOS components or adjusting cam timing.
