•Safety testing on the battery for programming:When it is used for programming,the charger output a Constant voltage 14.4VDC(or the voltage had been set from 11.6V to 16.8V) .This voltage will also be loaded on the battery. If the battery is in a deep discharged state, the voltage of the battery will be too low, the charging current will be very large, and the battery will be damaged.When start programming,all on-board electronics should be turned off in advance.After starting the programming mode,The device will prompt that the capacity value (AH) of the battery needs to be input,then the device will first test the output current.If the current exceeds the allowable value,the charger will not operate in programming mode and display a prompt message.In this case, it is necessary to charge the battery before programming mode is used.
•Spark-Free:When the battery clamps is connected to the battery,there is no voltage and current output.The device will only output voltage and current after detected the voltage of the battery, so,it will not produce sparks.
